The film’s storylines are primarily focused in seven western North Carolina counties including Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Haywood, Rutherford, Madison, and Mitchell counties. These were certainly not the only areas impacted heavily by Hurricane Helene, but these locations and stories were identified to tell the wider story of the impacts and recovery efforts that are widespread across many counties, communities, and municipalities.
